Report scope reminder
The Diligence Report is a manual, evidence-led research product prepared for one named charity or funding decision. It is not a guarantee of outcome, proof of wrongdoing, legal advice, audit assurance, financial advice, or regulator verification.
Typical coverage
A review of one named charity or funding decision using public register data, official filings where available, the charity's own public material where relevant, open-source context, and analyst notes prepared for responsible decision support.
Not included
The report is not a statutory audit, legal opinion, investment recommendation, financial advice, private investigation, regulator determination, or proof of fraud, misconduct, mismanagement, or breach of duty.
Turnaround
The standard target is five UK business days after payment and receipt of the required intake information. More complex cases, missing intake details, unusually large source sets, or source-access issues may require a revised estimate.
Delivery
Completed reports are delivered inside the customer's CharityWatch account where possible. Operational notices may also be sent by email using the address attached to the account or checkout workflow.
Refund Policy
Refund decisions are handled through [email protected]. Please include the account email, charity name, payment date, and a concise explanation of the request so the owner/admin team can assess it promptly.
Before work starts
A customer may request cancellation and a refund within 24 hours of purchase if analyst work has not materially started. Requests should be sent to [email protected] with the account email and charity name.
After work starts
Once substantive analyst review, source collection, or report drafting has begun, the fee is normally non-refundable because the service is bespoke and time-based. CharityWatch may still consider a partial or full refund where there has been a clear service failure.
After delivery
Delivered Diligence Reports are normally non-refundable. If a delivered report contains a material CharityWatch processing error, the primary remedy is correction, clarification, or replacement; refund decisions remain case-by-case.
Payment processing
Approved refunds are returned through the original Stripe payment method where technically possible. Bank, card-network, and Stripe processing times may affect when funds appear on the customer's statement.
